After Thanksgiving in 2013 the husband and wife duo that make up The Prairie State headed into the woods of Tryon Farm, along the coast of Michigan City, Indiana. It was time to record some of the material that had been milling about the past couple of years. The Live at Tryon Farm EP is a collection of seven songs that were performed live in the woods that weekend. They hiked through the forest, chased black squirrels, burned their share of the wood pile, and recorded to the sunset. It was a great 48 hours.
